While many parts of the country are still experiencing snow, rain & chilly temperatures, we may also be seeing some promises of Spring!
For my early March birthday, I had the blessing of getting to walk on Daffodil Hill here in North GA at Gibbs Gardens! 💐It was a true sight to see! Needless to say, it has given me spring fever, and already here in Georgia, we are battling “the green slime,” otherwise known as pollen!
Because spring allergies can really sneak up on you, I thought I would give you my favorite tips for clear breathing, helping with allergy induced congestion, and minimizing, watery eyes, itching, and sneezing.

My favorite go-to blend is the tried & true lemon, lavender, & peppermint!
You can simply put 2 drops each in a shot glass with tapwater & chug it, or take 1 - 2 of the TriEase softgels, (which is the same concentration). You can also rub 1-2 drops of each with a squirt of fractionated coconut oil over your chest, & on the bottoms of your feet, & diffuse, 2 drops of each, which smells amazing, by the way! To up-level your respiratory health, consider also adding a drop or two of Teatree to the mix or one of your tree oils like Siberian Fir, Black Spruce, Balsam Fir or Douglas Fir….

Spring Cleaning
If you’re like me, Spring Fever leads to Spring Cleaning—an urge to freshen up closets, bring out some brighter colors in your wardrobe, organize your space a little bit better, and do some deep cleaning—tackling windows and dusty surfaces! Before you know it, we will be spending time on our porch, and I will want to freshen up our flower pots— but I’m trying not to get ahead of myself just yet knowing that there could be a few more cold snaps.
I thought I would share with you a few DIY sprays that you can whip up quickly to help with your spring cleaning!

All-Purpose Surface Spray*
2 tsp OnGuard Cleaner Concentrate
8 oz distilled water
8 oz white vinegar
Glass & Window Spray*
10 drops lemon essential oil
10 drops lime essential oil
8 oz distilled water
8 oz white vinegar
Wood Cleaner
Take a brand new bottle of doTERRA Fractionated Coconut Oil. Open the clear plastic top with a flat butter, knife and carefully add 15 drops each of lemon essential oil and arborvitae essential oil. Put the top back on and shake. Use a small amount on a soft cloth to dust wooden surfaces. (Alternatively, you can use olive oil, but be very careful as olive oil can stain clothing or table linens. Fractionated coconut oil will not do this).
Fruit & Veggie Cleaner
Even organic produce can still have grit, grime, dirt, and insects! I love to soak my organic produce in a large stainless steel bowl filled with clean, filtered tap water. I shake several drops of lemon, orange or tangerine oil into the bowl filled with water. Then add produce. Let the produce soak for about 10 minutes and then rinse and dry. You will not believe what comes out in the bowl!
*All sprays are to be used in for 16oz glass bottles. I recently found some good ones in the Dollar Spot at Target but I usually get them on Amazon.
Energy Boost!
Finally, if you feel like you still are stuck in slow mo, feeling beaten down by the tail end of the winter doldrums, and need an energy boost, I wanted to share what has worked for me… I think it’s no surprise that coming out of the after affects of 2020 has left many of us sad, angry and down. Many of you have shared with me that you have struggled with your weight during this time, as I have as well.
doTERRA introduced MetaPWR, a new metabolic line back in September and it has been life-changing for so many people! Taking the MetaPWR Advantage—a citrus powder collagen sachet —daily in 8-10 oz of water has given me my zest for life back!
Not only have I experienced more energy, more focus and reduced brain fog, but I have lost weight, inches, it has helped me get my hair back, improve my eyesight, and firm and tone my skin. It’s an amazing product! Taking either the MetaPWR oil in my water daily or enjoying the same formula either in a beadlet, gum or soft gel has helped me curb cravings. And finally, taking one MetaPWR Assist with my heaviest meal of the day has helped shrink fat cells! I’m dropping a link in case you would like to read more.
So, Happy Spring, my friends!
This is a time of growth, renewal, freshening up, shedding & letting go of what does not serve us!
If you would like any support with your health priorities, right now, please reach out. I’m always here to brainstorm.
