Winter doldrums can dull our sparkle if we don’t have a plan! So this edition will focus on what we can do to keep our spirits high on grey days when we really wish we could hibernate!
And, since this month is all about L-O-V-E, let’s put together a self-care tool kit so we can give ourselves some much-deserved TLC…

How are your winter hands? My hands get so dry and my nails & cuticles so brittle this time of year.
My special hack is incorporating my doTERRA Root to Tip Serum!
While this styling tool is intended to promote smooth, shiny hair and a healthy-looking scalp, did you know it’s also nourishing for rough patches on our knees, elbows, heels & hands too? Skin still need extra pampering? Double down with a squirt of your handy tube of Correct X! It offers extra moisture & healing! This power ointment is a great alternative for a toxic over-the-counter product. When you have cuts, scratches and scrapes. We even use this on our dogs chapped paws. Totally safe for them as it also includes Lavender, Frankincense, Cedarwood, Helichrysum, (and Tea Tree which is totally safe for pups when used in small doses)!
Misty Hydration
We might not always have the time or money for the spa, so I like to fold in a few practical but luxurious beauty hacks into my daily routine that leave me feeling calmer & well-cared for!
For me, I think the key is keeping my products handy because if they are out of sight, they are out of mind!
So, I like to keep a bottle of the Beautiful Hydrating Mist in my shower next to my razor! I use it instead of a synthetic chemical-laden shaving gel. The ingredients of coconut, sunflower, avocado and passion fruit give my legs a nice close shave & my skin a radiant glow. And, the aromatic benefits of this Beautiful Captivating blend are just what we need this time of year:

Beaded Wood Diffuser Heart
Supplies
❤️ wood beads
❤️ stiff, bendable wire or wire coat hanger
❤️ needle nose pliers
❤️ scissors
❤️ favorite essential oils
❤️ possibly red or pink ribbon if you wish to hang to display
Simply bend your wire into the heart shape size you want and start stringing the beads.
Once the heart is full of beads, to close it you simply bend the wire at the bottom so its straight down and then twist the two wires together with needle nose pliers. You can use regular pliers but they're much thicker and you may not get a tight fit.
I found that the excess wire popped right off after I twisted long enough. You will find that the longer you twist, the tighter your bead heart gets. It really secures the wood beads nicely.
Apply a few drops of your favorite essential oils into the palms of your hand and rub generously over the beads. You could even tie a red or pink wire to hang this decor. Enjoy your beaded passive diffuser!
